IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS

This is one of my favorite John Carpenter movies. It also stars on of my favorite actors, Sam Neil. Sam Neil plays the role of a insurance investagator hired to find a publishing companys best selling author Sutter Cane. He was supposed to be working on his latest novel when he vanished. Neil and Canes editor go to a town that only exists in Canes books. They meet characters from the books and finally Sutter Cane himself. the writer completes his book and gives it to Neil to release upon the world.

The entire movie is strange and crazy. It was based on a H.P.Lovecraft story, which explains the insanity behind the movie.
